i really can't keep up though. maybe i take too many pictures. i can't keep up with myself. i get too tired to find them and place them and then i feel sorry if i don't have anything good to say. i saw dorothea lange and she said a caption is more than fact it tells the story and helps you see it, feel it. i say it doesn't matter and the world is streaming by so fast we just get glimpses instantly replacing one another like blink, picture, blink—but i know it does. look at lange, look at christenberry, you look again at the world, different, like a witness, like new, like a ghost perhaps, the floating world. when it flows it's like a film but i ain't got time for that now, just time to watch some when i'm too tired to edit my glimpses. it's ok right it's ok we do what we can it's not important anyway if it is important the images will find their way i'm not making any claims honestly just looking and i believe i can give looking too to your eyes that might be something fleeting and particular if not important in the historical sense in some sense of sentience, something sweet and fleeting you might miss.
