i'm back (as if this was happening in real time). i went out on the fire escape to take this picture (god knows), and the wind blew the fire door shut so i had to walk down the fire escape. at the bottom the last flight is raised so i climbed onto the entry roof and down and ron buzzed me in. he said good thing you didn't go down that last flight or the alarm would have sounded. r. was here last time this happened and heard me knocking. the cats didn't even notice i was missing. pshew.
