sam looks deep in camera, maybe more than when he looks at just me. or maybe the camera is seeing what my shyness doesn't perceive. or maybe he's studying the camera, as he finally got his own little found camera charged, and is wondering how it might see. i think i might see new things with this camera. i might see the shifting expressions of people i see in passing everyday. i might pause a little longer, wondering what they are thinking, trying to read them, how they feel.
