carl returns. i ain't seed carl since the fall and he was a rather different carl then. he was still on some epileptic seizure drug and he was heavy and distracted, a little depressed, afraid to swim, he flopped in tidepools, creaked upright and ambled on. today he greeted us warmly, he's lighter and happy and lingered calmly. i remarked on how good he is and learned he's off the hard drug and on turmeric and boswellia. i remember we talked about turmeric last season and i'm thrilled carl is into it. now i'm going to get mister boswellia! thanks, carl!
