copper was a little distracted today. he was trying to assess but a little off. first he went off the path and came back when i stayed on it, then i went off to photograph and he lost me. i had to yell and whistle and then chastise him to stay with me. then we met nike who wouldn't come. i got her and we all went to the japanese garden where she was freed again and crazy again. and i can't remember what i did when copper was wild and am so glad he's so good now.
