someone said to me, i think humans are just another animal who shares characteristics with all the others. we kill, they kill; when your cat catches a mouse and plays with it is it being cruel, or just playful?

i said to him, so the zionists are just playing with the palestinians? we are not like other animals. 

this to me is a strange way of thinking. it sounds like to him there is no cruelty in humans. they're just doing what comes naturally. if that's true then we can forget about humanity. but i don't imagine any other animals committing genocide. maybe the zionists are playing, but no one in their right mind would say they are not cruel.
