Yesterday was the first omen day and the first paramita day. The first omen animal was the possum. The possum looked at us a long time, completely still. The first paramita is generosity. No gift, no giver, no receiver. Generosity is oneness, not give and take. That's what I feel when I look at the possum looking at me. We look into each other, through each other's eyes. The look is a feeling. To look with feeling is oneness, generosity. The next paramita is discipline. Who or what will the second omen be? I'll see on my walks.
