mom used to always comment ad infinitum on the second and third toes on my right foot being a peace sign. i notice olive looking at my toes. i wasn't trying to feature them, but if i hid them under the covers the little devil olive would attack them with gleeful ferocity. i notice the peace sign looks more crooked now. i also note that mom has not mentioned my toes for an indeterminate amount of time.
