i was sitting on a concrete pad thinking about putting my body in the water when i felt the wind rise and the poplar leaves started flying and the rain came and i put my book away and saw a message from r. there were sun showers by the apartment and so i waited til the rain went over the water and turned to see a rainbow appear. i swam under the rainbow. perhaps this rainbow on the day of the full manoomin moon augurs well for the water defenders and all of us who love the water because water is magical, water is life.
