we watched a film called utopia, about the first people of australia. they've been treated as we have the first people in america, hated and abused. as the palestinians, as the arab countries we colonize. after the iraq film i was already heartbroken, but in this world ones heart breaks like waves on the shore. speaking of which i will try to swim today.

what i was wondering is how the colonized survive. i had the feeling in australia they are waiting for the colonizers to expand and collapse, because there is no way to fight them, and knowing the earth will outlast them, and the people of the earth, because the colonizers have no connection to earth, no love, and once they are finished exploiting all the resources they will perish. 

maybe that's the way people everywhere who love the earth are waiting for, enduring and abiding while the aliens have their day.
