i got that book life animated at the library in a bagful for 5 bones. the very next day i got the movie. it's a book about autism and disney. i always thought the essence of uncle walt was a colony in our unconscious zeitgeist and i was always creeped out by him. i see what these kids do with it though, which is probably more constructive than what most of us do, they actually apply it in a transformative way in their own life story. it seems like autism takes disney back to it's source materials, fairy tales from the old world forest, the unconscious that uncle walt manipulated and animated, like a feedback loop. and i thought how i want to be on that spectrum they say we're all on now, i want to find my wavelength on the spectrum, i want to never grow up and grow and grow in love and honor the earth spirit. i want to walk lightly like a dog. my wavelength is more dog than human, what in humanspeak would be autistic in mild form, but that wish to be in a world other than the human one, the form disney hinted and tinted, the one dogs drift within. the world of the sidekick and the eternal child.
