Sam Altman has said, “Successful people create companies. More successful people create countries. The most successful people create religions.” He’s also said that forming a company is “the easiest way” to form a religion. So you have people – whose technology is being fused with governance, by the way – who are really trying to create not only fiefdoms, but religions with themselves at the center.
