sad trees have a hard time in the city. the soil is packed and depleted. you feel that? some people do. the soil on the obamachron is packed hard and layered with gravel for drainage and covered with styrofoam and black cloth, and a some dark soil to make it look real, and the trees will know, as we do, being fooled, tried and trying, watching them build the artificial landscape with the carceral tower dominating. so, i'd say to the kids, how are we going to live in the artificial world the parents admit is a done deal?
