so many things come from colonialism, from genocide to colloquialisms. trudz always said thanks for holding down the fort, and we never thought about it, living in the colony, by the obamachron, which come to think of it is a fort. maybe we can never become native to this place, but maybe, as we continue, we can become conscious.
