on the first walk there was a protest for palestine but no speakers. i think i'll go back and see if anything else is happening. there's a metaphysical aspect to changing societies i think. when power seems absolute it's hard to imagine freedom, but unjust regimes do fail. 

the second walk we find a deflated red kickball and i lay on my back watching lulu run up and down the midway while behind crews install more surveillance cameras. 

i wonder how long will democracy be a settler colonial police state. will it change in my short lifespan. how long will it take til the rogue empire falls.
