we want to opt out of the american holidays. i'd like to be as un-american as possible. i can get over the propaganda, in time, and eschew the fake national narrative, but it's hard to disappoint the family. i don't want presents, and that's grinchly. so i go there empty handed and watch the extravaganza? my xmas memories after the divorce were hellish. that's one thing. but i was never a good american from the time i refused to say the pledge of allegiance in grade school. ah, fug me, i'll let you know how it goes. i wish i had an anarchistic family. can i skip and call it a glitch in the matrix?
