thank you for writing about the obamalandgrab. i've been watching it happen from across the street. the slaughter of the trees is devastating. and the sad scene of community groups protesting at the groundbreaking.

my friend hired the plane with the message stop cutting trees—move the opc!

i live in the building where one of his champions, timuel black, just died. the saddest thing, along with the loss of public space, is the fact that too many people cannot see him as other than a hero, and will never 

fathom his true career. 

he occupies the park now, and the people surrounding are feeling the push, but i hope we can write the truth about obama and see his facade crumble.
