hi jenni,
thanks for indigenously. i'm living on the edge of jackson park watching the preliminary ditch digging to lay pipeline to what will be the obama fundation compound, with his massive white tower,
across the street from the nature sanctuary. we are grieving this development and still hoping against hope that the protect our parks lawsuit will miraculously intervene. meanwhile we watch and commune
with the trees that will be killed. i know there are land grabs going on all around,
and this is just a city park, but it's vital to the birds, and coyote and so on, to us.
they always say around here it's a done deal, don't waste your energy. it's so corrupt you can barely see. we are in our grieving getting ready for the catastrophe.
one thing i think if the first black president is gifted the people's park, perhaps they will see fit to change the name from the slaver jackson to the "liberator" obama. personally, i will call it in my mind (and on this blogue) obombaland.
can you tell me what people lived here before the settler colonialists came? anyway, it's all man-made now, and the water is rising, i imagine canoeing around obama's sunken illuminated tower.
anyway no matter what comes,
to you all good things,
doug shaeffer
+i'm sending this but it's really just a thought. i could have just thought it, but this is the way i think.
