i was dreaming hard. i was awake at 6ish then i was dreaming i was with somebody's dog, big like big al but more hairy but tall like a person and sort of maybe a dreamer or with dementia or both he started to wander across the street and i guided him back by the shoulder to a sale books etc i had a few then noticed they were each dog eared, underlined spine cracked and i put em back and he was gone and i saw him down the block inside a big screened window and my old neighbor with handlebar mustache was inside he said he came through the screen to get the cat but the screen was intact and he was smiling but i was deflated by my neglectful care.
