wow the liberry opened today i got three books brand spanking new i don't have to wait five weeks and pay. love love love the liberry. i hope they don't shut it down in the austerity. i got a little burnt at the beach, but it'll turn brown. i'm still thinking about the police. the marshall project asks if the police know brutal methods just incite anger and escalate violence why do they do it? because they are violence workers they aren't there to quell violence or keep the peace. especially when the protests are about police brutality. they say we'll give you brutality massive, military grade. they say this is going to burn and then light it up. feel the power. it would be different if it wasn't racist. it would be different if it was a democracy. wow it's raining hard now. feels good. it's summer and it's confusing inbetween phased reopenings, but ah, in dog time, these are halcyon days. i'm going to stay aware of what's happening with the pandemic protests, but i'm going to revel and luxuriate in the dog days.
