i'm still thinking about parasite.

it plays with your head, gnome sane, it plays intelligently with your intelligence. hey that's interesting, like intellect and gentle, intelligent.

it isn't obvious, but it plays with expectations, genre and such. one character keeps saying it's metaphorical, but it's not clear what he means. he carries this philosopher's stone around that he says clings to him and follows him and at one point crushes his brain. 
this is no review i'm aware of that it's just like i don't know, i like that about parasite, that it keeps you thinking on your toes, gnome sane.
