in oakland there are 4 empty houses, bought at rock bottom prices by speculation corporations they call eviction machines, 4 empty houses for every homeless person. moms for housing moved into one of these, threatened with eviction by the sheriff's department, but hundreds of neighbors turned out to block the eviction and protect the moms and children. two of the mom's were on democracy now and at the end amy got a text that the sheriff's department was back knocking at the door. 
this is going on everywhere, here with mac realty, the massive corporate displacement machine. we need moms for housing here. this is the state of things, the war on the poor, massive displacement, this is the business of war on the homefront, war from within the ruthless capitalist machine.
