i can get pretty preoccupied but he's pretty good at getting through to me and even in my preoccupation i'm pretty attuned to him. when he had that rope stuck in his gut it was plain to see the way he looked at me. he was calm today (and he had a good poop!) and i felt no alarm, though i want to hear how he is now. anyway, how are you?
