they cut the plants that would bend and wave in the breeze. they make sharp spikes and wood chips of live things. they cut things down so they can see what they want to eliminate. and when this land is foundation land there will be little to no place for creatures of seclusion to live, nor creatures who need the places where creatures of seclusion live.
