i had a bout of remorse. well, maybe sadness, that we buy these things by adults who stay children in art and life, and throw out our own children. something like that. i asked if it was a child's, and then i got the story, and i was seduced. you know i have one of my own my blessed mum saved, a red bunny flat as a flounder, that could have been outsider art had i been a successful outsider, if i hadn't kept getting the drill in school and fighting against the pledge of allegiance. that makes me sad. but i'm glad i got it.
