No justice. No peace. Isn't it funny to put that with Fenny?  Well dogs have more sense of peace and justice than many humans. I think they are my allies in peace and justice in some inchoate way. I also realize how dependent these things are, on commitment, and forebearance, as well as love. And when I'm despondent it can affect a sensitive dog.
