and eckstein says people don't change, people forget, but the brain is labile, changing throughout life, minutely, grandly, momentously, i am glad to say.
yes memories are labile and change continually, each time they are recalled, uncertain and malleable, and ever new.
so the most vivid memories are impermanent and change. that helps.
