obomba drones on. the banality of evil

a boy who slept next door while his family was murdered by drones listens to drones circling overhead day after day, and in the night.  he wishes he had died that day. he no longer wants to live in a world of drone attacks.
the killers say anyone killed is a terrorist unless proven otherwise posthumously. another victim of a drone attack, who has spoken out against the attacks, has gone missing. he says in the film wounds of waziristan, there are no greater terrorists than bush and obama.  obomba says he will be haunted by these civilian deaths, but this is the cost of prosecuting war for peace. like the fugs song, kill, kill, kill for peace. that's the whole song, an endless refrain. seeing hanna arendt i realized the banality of evil is deathless and when spoken from the imperial lectern it sounds like a drone from a far away place.
