charlie was playing in a leaf pile where the students had been making palestinian ornaments for the trees last week which were later removed and i found a wooden mandala earring and then heard a crash and saw a family looking at a kid rubbing his shoulder and looking at a fallen oak branch. i guess the kid was ok. he was staring at the branch and taking pictures. we went to another leaf pile and i tossed the glow in the dark ball in and it disappeared and the kid took pictures of us rooting around in the leaves mysteriously happy.
