yeah. so, i saw the film the best of enemies. i know it's not your style, debate. you just like to do what you like and nuff said. i agree, and yet it's weird, they weren't really debating issues. they were debating each other. they hated each other! buckley said to vidal, you call me a crypto-fascist again i will smash your face! debate! hahaha. it was good drama. i think buckley was a closet gay and he hated the outrageous freedom of vidal. it was a good story. but it kind of ended in '68. 
john lithgow, so lovely in love is strange, read the part of gore vidal. but in this story it was mr. buckley who was the painter. funny, i wonder if that was where he came out to himself. he was angry ever after that debate. in a late interview he said he wanted to die. he was tired of life.
you guys don't debate. you just try to do your own thing. i respect that.
