i was walking with lulu the other day and noticing flags. there's one i think is a ukrainian nazi flag. another one has a circle of stars and red and white stripes, i don't know what that means, the confederacy? and a big old glory reminding me of dad's flag. one time we visited his summer house on cape cod and he had a huge flag and it flew in my face and blocked the view of the pond with the swans. i asked why do you have such a big flag? i didn't know you even had a flag. and i was kind of sick of america and he said i always had a flag. i often wonder what he would say about the grand old country now. then i think of trump humping the flag like a horn dog, and then i think of the movie trashhumpers. that's how my mind works on our walks.
