i was trying to be light. i did not want to give charlie up. i don't know what she's going to think of me. i know she will be loved, but i hope she doesn't feel rejected and abandoned. i've felt that and i would never want charlie to feel it. at least she's going to be with a friend, and i can see her, but of course it won't ever be the same.
