i'm reading the loneliness files. i read about a japanese word, hikikomori, it means to withdraw, and to be inside. it's probably different in japan than here, they have forest bathing and also a forest where people can go to die in peace and quiet with the trees. i used to be more afraid of the world, i still am, but i feel more at home. it's the time of year for hikikomori, and maybe also the time of the world.
