i just finished over the sea wall about environmental maladaptations, and now i just read about the miscalculations of the army corps of engineers, and i trust my gut when i hear the word army, what it says to my gut is, oh, fuck, here they come to profit themselves and destroy the environment, just like war. they don't come to save us, they don't even come to save the environment. they come like an invading army to do their business of command and control.
