we saw today the bus kiosk on stony and 57th is really empty. yesterday i heard the resident is in poor shape, in hospital. i don't recall riders waiting in it before. people stood behind it, perhaps because it was once demolished by a car. now the empty glass box seems like a stage and a memorial with traffic rushing by. i see it in my mind with a ghost light sitting on the curb.
