charlie and i were playing around the embankment by the train tracks and i noticed a cat next to a tree crouching and shivering. charlie was standing oblivious right next to the cat and then got scared and ran a few feet away and barked and the cat cried and came to me and then charlie came back around and the cat began to follow charlie and charlie slunk away. i left the cat crying and said i'd be back. came back with a can of juju's fancy feast and the cat ate, purring and shivering. then m.j. and r. came with a carrier and we all went home.
