we had a sweet walk me and lulu without benny and friedl, on vacation. i've been thinking about that. i love the love of benny and lulu, but lulu gets crazy, and they also walk real slow, and i enjoy walking with only lulu. 

passing rockyfeller, the bells were playing stairway to heaven. there are messages emanating from the bell tower where the peregrine couple lives.

it's burning hot yet there's a sensuous summer breeze and the trees give a lovely shade though we're still fucked. 

on the return loop i saw so it goes scratched on a wall and thought of the vonnegut refrain and then the nick lowe song. where it's going no one knows. that's been the refrain all along but never so much as today.
