if i look at details might i get a sense of things? i get the feeling animals are looking through my eyes to something beyond me. wouldn't you like to look through other animals eyes? what about those chains hanging from the wall? is most or all of human activity a performance? is that spider making a face at me? who carved that stone eye and are they still looking?
