i don't think we are able to look at the big picture, our brains are incapable of opening so wide. we're local. but not the way spirits of the sea or forest are. we're local like our devices that are supposed to connect everything to everything. without our devices we're lost now, we've come to depend on money and not spirit. we crush the spirit like a leaflet for a lost dog, lost until the news comes, dead. we've become so very undependable.
it's important to look. i don't think we can see it. our eyes sail out like boats and float there. we can only see the horizon from far. from far we can see us looking out, we are there at the same time we are here. we can only go there by staying here, still. still, those other boats, they could be anyone. they might be threading the wind that we breathe. our breath might fill their sail.
it's soothing to look at things, especially with a blue horizon for perspective. you can imagine that life will always begin in water, even if it appears to become a liquid desert with archipelagos of trash. if you feel empty fill yourself again with the horizon, all the water is home. and if it rises over our structures, if we're gone then the water will yet be home. our trash will break down after us will be water imbued with abandoned particles of us.
i don't think we can be saved.
