what does one's attitude towards life depend upon. spirit.

if we separate the material from the spiritual, we have breakdown. look at it. we break it all down, then go meditate or recreate earnestly. 

the pressing nature of worldly occupations (pressing nature out), the powerful shocks of the material environment (guns, poverty, corruption, pollution, war), the constant lure of physical temptation, and the occupying of the brain by physical cares- these things are apt to make the life of the spirit unreal.
