our friends come by while we're cleaning the swamp. they say what are you doing. i say we're cleaning the swamp. is it protected they ask. it is by us i say. we'll come and help next sunday they say. you are always welcome i say. it's a futile task if you think about it, but if you think some more, it feels good. not futile at all.
as soon as we clean one spot the birds come down to bathe and drink. there's a lot of plastic and styrofoam that disintegrates but it's a long hard job for nature, and the animals end up eating the little toxic particles and so do we. thanks for noticing. good job. it does a body good to notice the swamp, notice the swamp's a body like us, cleaning up.
