when death is coming, if you have time, you reevaluate your life. if you don't have time, it flashes before your eyes like a synaptic kaleidoscope. if you are known, others may reevaluate you when you die. there's no time for you, or the others to, when you're alive. also you can't see anything until the end, if then. i think i guess that's the reason for forever wars, so we can't evaluate the reason. if the person is not known, if the reason remains unknown, for life, maybe death will provide a reason. i feel that there is a reason, even unknown.
i can't evaluate scott walker's life, but i noticed him when i noticed him, and i will look again now that he has died. i think about the path from those lilting pop songs of the sixties to the dark jangling noise of his later years. think of that dreamy pop sensibility in the craggy old man. i'm gonna watch 30 century man now. genius. he'll be drifting around the borders of the unconscious a long time. someone said what he's after is the boundary between chords and dischords. he was like a crooner of dark places. i wonder what his last words were. fascinatin' rhythm. i'm gonna watch pola x again tonight.
