mira is a good baby, she's quiet and observing. her gramps is greek, i think, or persian. i'm addled. we met with lulu at the free book box. he remembered my name. it's d-o-u-g, right? he said like dog before, and i said yeah, exactly. and told him my doug-dog-dug-blog spiel. 
he said what kind of dog is monkey. a corgi i say he says it means wolf, it's, i forgot what country. i said i think it's welsh, but you may be right. maybe both, he says. i say i'm gonna look it up.

it means "dwarf dog" in welsh. then i look for the corg/wolf.

the swedish vallhund is a sturdy little herding dog that very much resembles the welsh corgi. in fact, breeders believe the two were interbred at some point in the 8th or 9th century.
