mary wondered if the dogs would be scared of the solar eclipse. hilde was her regular self, bouncing the ball off her nose back to me. it's a heavy rubber planet ball and i wondered if it would bonk her nose, but she returned it with aplomb. anyway the glasses didn't really fit.
