we make it so hard on everyone. why does a lifestyle here mean slavery there. why do we give arms and debt, and sow chaos and war. why do we bomb. why do we drone on about the price of freedom and acceptable loss. why can't we love. why can't we start living within our means, within nature. why are we so goddamn mean.
