this whole canoodle about animal consciousness is stupid. isn't it obvious even to scientists that we are all conscious? to some degree? some dogs are more conscious than most humans i perceive, and some are well matched to their human lot.

scientists are like, no we can't be soft, we can't have soft science, we need hard proof. i'm like, proof that you have consciousness? if you perceive animal consciousness then i suppose i must concede that you yourself are conscious too.

i speculate we're all conscious and we're all unconscious. i speculate we all need to wake up and stay awake and value all life like consciousness is in us and everywhere.
