Allies walk. I was talking about authenticity and empathy and stuff with Barb and I realized as fucked-up as i feel i am growing authentic with the help of my allies and my own stubborn self trying to behave as naturally and authentically as i can in an society of artifice and disconnection. i'm in it with the dogs, who are trying to be animals in a prejudicial human construct, and doing a damn fine job of it when offered the least bit of necessary freedom.
