head of copp looking back for this old man. this morning we met a woman with a small pack of dogs cavorting free in bobolink meadow, the same pack we met last time when professor nit stopped jogging to enlighten me about the virtue of staying on the path. last i saw he i was yelling at professor nit and i assumed she thought i was perhaps a sociopath counterproductive to the cause of dog freedom, but she was really glad i did what i did, and i was in turn. then i persuaded her to join us on the island and she said she worried about the homosexuals trysting and the guys in little black cars, and i said i stumbled on a pair of trysters but like the coyotes, they are shy and harmless, and part of haha urban nature, and the guys in little black cars never bothered me, only the wardens did, and then we came upon one and was smiling and said you have quite an entourage, and i said i started with one and now we are six, i'm like the pied piper. and this was another righteous warden i had a discussion with before, who once lectured me like herr professor nit. |
