he had to work hard to free himself. hilde always had it easy. i have a bit of resentment for that, ha hm, but i savor it too. but copp is super smart so he is freer than hilde, freer than most. freedom born of struggle is sweet and precious. i savor hil's innocence, but i'm more like copp.
