again today copp was very interested in the disintegrating cattail corral. i thought it rather mysterious too when today in front of my lens and onto my camera wriggled a lovely caterpillar and i think ah perhaps a young caterpillar rancher built that corral and the resourceful and independent caterpillar after realizing the kid was not returning to nurture her decided to breach the gap. another mystery solved with my trusty sidekick copp, who bovinely browsed the area ignoring the caterpillar. i'm not sure what he was browsing, but hilde surprised me by crunching on acorns in the quad.
